Yoga in Daily Life has a long tradition of spiritual masters who have left their legacy in the form of teachings, books and bhajans – spiritual songs. One of the respected masters in this great lineage is Hindu Dharmsamrat Paramhans Sri Swami Madhavananda Ji, affectionately known as Holy Guruji, and he became liberated from this mortal world twenty years ago, in 2003.
When the daylight hours are shorter and the nights longer, as is the season now in the Northern Hemisphere, many cultures observe different festivals and holidays with a common purpose – to celebrate light, friendship, forgiveness and the spirit of togetherness.
