First Jewish-Hindu Leadership Summit

A historic event took place in New Delhi/India, February 5-6, 2007, when Hindu and Jewish religious leaders met for the first time for a two-day dialogue on a range of subjects. His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda also took part in the event as a member of the Hindu delegation. Jewish delegation, led by Israel's Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger, included 20 Rabbis from Israel and the diaspora.

Ardh Kumbha Mela 2007

This year's festival is the Ardh (half) Kumbha Mela, but despite of its name it still drew millions of spiritual seekers to the confluence of Ganges, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers. Hindu belief has it that one’s sins are purified by a dip in these holy waters, thereby liberating him.

Swamiji's World Peace Tour 2004 (photos and reports)

On Tuesday, the 24th of February 2004, Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandaji had started his World Peace Tour 2004. Swamiji will travel virtually around the world and will visit various continents and countries to spread the message of peace and tolerance among nations, religions and races. Almost each year new destinations are added to his schedule, this year these are South Africa and some countries of the former Soviet Union.
